L. : « Le besoin d'enracinement et de ludisme est si grand pour moi, perpétuellement, mais spécialement en cette période de deuil suite au décès de mon père. Émilie, par son art de druide et magicienne sonore, a su confectionner un objet dont le son acoustique, granuleux aux fréquences spectrales stimule l'attention. L'aspect participatif, puisque je dois agiter le hochet, combiné au son qui change avec chaque manipulation, permet un exercice de "mindfulness", ramenant l'attention, par les sens, à l'espace temps et physique que j'occupe dans le moment présent. Combiné avec une pétale de rose sous la langue, je retrouve une légèreté de l'être tout en me sentant bien enracinée. Cela m'a amené un grand répit, plus de quiétude et facilité l'accueil du sommeil. Et Squee m'a suivi gaiement en tournée et même sur la scène! »

"The need for grounding and playfulness is so great for me, perpetually, but especially in this time of mourning following the death of my father. Emilie, through her art as a druid and sound magician, knew how to make an object whose acoustic sound, grainy at spectral frequencies, stimulates attention. The participatory aspect, since I have to shake the rattle, combined with the sound that changes with each manipulation, allows an exercise in "mindfulness", bringing attention, through the senses, to the time and physical space that I occupy in the present moment. Combined with a rose petal under the tongue, I find a lightness of being while feeling well rooted. This brought me a great respite, more tranquility and facilitated the acceptance of sleep. And Squee happily followed me on tour and even on stage! »
