1 hour; for 4 performers originally from different places.

prepare some local (hometown) food.
prepare some local music (or opera, folklore, or any audio) in mobile phone.
eat; chat; observe and taste the food.
one of the performers directs one other performer with one of 6 instructions. the next then directs another one by one of the instructions. and so on.

instructions:
stop all movement and sound;
walk around in the room and play music;
repeat what you are doing now;
translate one of the food's name (into english, for instance) by software and play out the pronunciation;
speak few sentence of dialogue or foreign language;
copy what i'm doing.

1 hora; para 4 artistas originarios de diferentes lugares.

preparar algo de comida local (ciudad natal).
preparar algo de música local (u ópera, folklore o cualquier audio) en el teléfono móvil.
comer; charla; observar y probar la comida.
uno de los intérpretes dirige a otro intérprete con una de las 6 instrucciones. el siguiente luego dirige a otro por una de las instrucciones. y así.

instrucciones:
detenga todo movimiento y sonido;
caminar por la habitación y tocar música;
repita lo que está haciendo ahora;
traducir el nombre de uno de los alimentos (al inglés, por ejemplo) por software y reproducir la pronunciación;
hablar pocas frases de diálogo o idioma extranjero;
copia lo que estoy haciendo.

YAN JUN (CHINA)
Yan Jun lives and works in Beijing, China. He is a poet and a musician who works with field recording, body, electronic noise and ideas (many !). Amongst many others, he participated to Gwangju Biennale (2018), Documenta (2017), the Shanghai Biennale (2014). He was in residency at DAAD, Berlin, in 2016. His main recent activities are what he calls "non-music", the band Fen (Otomo Yoshihide / Ryu Hankil / Yuen Chee Wai/ Yan Jun), and the project The Living Room Tour (many locations, one of them being Montreal, Canada in 2016, 6 performances curated by Eric Mattson). He is also one of the mind behind the chinese music label Subjam.

Vive y trabaja en Beijing. Es un poeta y un músico y trabaja con grabaciones de campo, el cuerpo, el ruido electrónico e ideas (¡muchas!). Entre muchos otros, participó en la Bienal de Gwangju (2018), Documenta (2017), la Bienal de Shanghai (2014). Estuvo en residencia en el DAAD, Berlín, en 2016. Sus principales actividades recientes son lo que él llama «no-música», la banda Fen (Otomo Yoshihide / Ryu Hankil / Yuen Chee Wai/ Yan Jun), y el proyecto The Living Room Tour (lugares diversos como Montreal, Canadá en 2016, 6 actuaciones comisariadas por Eric Mattson). También es una de las mentes detrás del sello musical chino Subjam.
