Les Impatients de Montréal ont perdu ce jeudi 25 mai 2023 leur MAISON dans un incendie majeur, TOUS les bénéfices de la vente de ce disque iront à apaiser la détresse qu'ils et elles éprouvent et à racheter des instruments de musique.

Collaborations and Solos by various persons suffering from mental Illnesses and some professional musicians, improvising together.

The first one are called Les Impatients, that name is also the name of the Foundation who do offer art and music workshops to them.

The artists have been invited to interact with them. Each event is different.

Live concerts
Second concert on 5 - Third serie - 2011

Each month, from February to June, during the first two weeks an invited composer participates to music workshops given by the organization Les Impatients to people with various mental illnesses. The fourth week, a concert with guest musicians under the direction of this composer, allows the public to share this unusual encounter.

Alexandre St-Onge is an audio artist, a musician/improviser (acoustic bass, bass, voice and electronics) and a sound performer. He has studied literature and philosophy and he is currently doing his PhD in art. He is fascinated by creativity as a pragmatic approach of the ineffable.

As a painter, sculptor, performer and professional drummer, John Heward is, in Quebec, for more than forty years, considered as a leading player in both the visual arts scene in the field of improvised music more particularly free jazz
